Angiopoietin-like 4 (ANGPTL4): a new target

Genotype-phenotype correlation studies of inactivating mutations of ANGPTL4 are presented in the New Engl J Med.  These mutations appear to lower triglycride (+ modest elevation HDL) and have lower odds ratio for coronary artery disease.
